Sunderland City of Culture

A project in collaboration with illustrator Gemma Tribick  commissioned by Sunderland’s bid to become the UK City of Culture 2021. The bid was an opportunity for the city to establish itself as a centre for arts, heritage and culture.

We produced a map illustrating 30 cultural features and landmarks in the Sunderland region. The printed map is currently displayed at Sunderland Metro Station.
